Escapism

Created from two parts, Escapism collection coat represents the idea of covering all modern and technical elements that we have inside us today with soft, gentle nature. First part, made from stiff blue plastic nylon and thin light blue nylon lining with complex cuts, is covered with the other part, realized from delicate furry black and white wool and enriched with pastel colored yarn and little pieces of wood embroidery.

Anastasiia Zhiliaeva was born in Saint-Petersburg, Russia, where she started as fashion designer. While studying for two years at Academy of Art and Design, apart from design and pattern making, she had attended masterclasses in painting, drawing and even sculpture. Then, in 2013 she moved to Florence to continue her studying at Polimoda. Anastasiia is most fond of working on creating interesting cuts in garments’ construction and combining natural, soft and modern, technical materials in her collections.
